Job description & mission

As the Global Product Manager for zero emission solutions, you will work in the URE marketing department as part of the product management group. You will be researching, planning, promoting and supporting the development of our electric powered product portfolio including drivetrains, batteries and chargers.

Your main responsibilities will be to manage and develop the electric platforms for the zero emission products as well as supporting and coordinating the product roadmaps together with the product lines. The role also includes taking a leading role in projects and acting as an internal hub, supporting marketing functions, customer centers, R&D and production. You will work cross functionally within our organization as well as with our customers, customer centers, suppliers and other Epiroc divisions. You will be responsible to develop, sales arguments, promotional material and to give training and presentations related to the electric platform.

Zero-emission / electrification is rapidly expanding, and offers an exciting and dynamic working environment. The position require traveling about 30-50 days per year. 

 

Mission & Core objectives for the role:

  • Ensure Epiroc electric platform becomes world leading in underground segment.
  • Safeguard that the electric platform always is competitive and relevant.
  • Produce and maintain marketing sales material with solid arguments for the Epiroc electric platform.
  • Translate information in to project proposals for product development
  • Assume project leadership for pre-studies and minor projects regarding electrification.
  • Be responsible for identifying the correct product cost and market price for the product.
  • Support the sales process for the electric products.

We see that you are an outgoing person with great ability to build lasting relations. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive, strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.

 

Experience & knowledge requirements:

 

  • Work experience within product marketing, customer centers, R&D or similar
  • Education on university level or other relevant background and experience
  • Understanding of electric drivetrain, batteries and underground mining
  • Excellent communication and motivation skills
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
