At the same time we will create a Global Master Data and Trade Compliance organization. Uniting the supply chains serving both RDT and MRS will create synergies between the two divisions and unlock opportunities to build world-class capabilities at scale.

Mission:

The VP Parts Operations has a key role in managing Parts supply chain planning, optimizing Parts assortment and deployment, and Parts life cycle management for the MRS Division. She or he is responsible for managing and developing a global world-class Parts supply chain planning team.

 

Job description:

Sales & Operations planning

You will be the owner of the MRS S&OP process and tools and responsible for the regional consolidation of unconstrained demand. You will organize regional planning meeting and determine net supply requirements per region. You will also consolidate regional supply requirements and determine global net supply requirements. You will provide input to GSH for supplier co-planning meetings and orchestrate global and executive S&OP meetings.

Target setting, rebalancing, inventory deployment

You will set service level and inventory targets for the global network including CCs and DCs. You will also manage replenishment orders (DO) to deploy inventory within the network, the rebalancing of stock between regions and inventory deployment planning targets, e.g. for critical parts.

Assortment planning and optimization

As VP Parts Operation you own the process to define parts assortment for the global network and you decide on assortment per region (in collaboration with BLM, logistics managers, etc. of the region). You will maintain and optimize parts assortment per region and decide on assortment allocation within the region: which parts at LDC, which parts at RDC.

Part life cycle implementation and management

In this role you will define and maintain parts lifecycle/catalogue management process and discipline, and establish parts standardization and modularization of platforms objectives with Product Development.

People management

You will establish the MRS parts operations organization (hiring, training, onboarding, coaching, etc.) and manage operations team and increasingly coach regional teams in the delivery of the transportation and supply chain goals and objectives.

 

Educational and experience requirements:

You should have a degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related degree. MBA is preferable. We are looking for someone with at least 15 years in global supply chain management (domestic and international experience). You should have experience in the spare parts industry and end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management. We want a leader with a track record of managing people in a global organization and you should have a background in spare parts management at Epiroc or equivalent industries. In this role you need good English communication skill, both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred. EU work permit required.

Country and city description This position is located in Sweden, Örebro and reports to President MRS, Jess Kindler. In this position occasional travel is required.
